If I put wider tires on my car, I'm going to get worse gas mileage?
I have a Mustang GT 03, and now I'm adding a few modifications Performance, traction is becoming a problem so I set to 275 back. I no longer get good gas mileage as is, that would put wider tires in the back I get worse gas mileage? How much if I had to guess?
If you tire wider, you will not earn any action forward, either. What You need is higher tire. Think of it this way, which would help best run, and feet, or wider feet? Wide tires provide better traction to the side, but usually at the cost of some direction. Other than that, it really is killing your mileage is your performance mods. Stop doing that, and will not keep decreasing your mileage. Or the mods but keep driving more and more difficult, because it has better performance now. You do not lose traction due to the mods. You are losing traction since we are trying to push the car harder. Even with a car than 1,000 horsepower, and bad tires, you can still maintain traction, taking with calm. I suggest you do the same.
