What kind of toys should I buy your chest?
Any suggestions? photos? I searched the web sites of Walmart and Target and I do not know whether to get breakfast or a wooden toy chest a Little Tikes plastic. Thanks!
I agree with the new mom. For a family / Area entertainment, a wooden chest look nicer. My daughter's room had a beautiful wooden chest was with her bedroom set. I figured when he beat toys, it would be good for storage or perhaps a hope chest. It turned out to be great for storing off season clothing, blankets, etc. My son room was a particle board box of toys. It had sliding doors painted with green slate, and went with the Ninja Turtle theme he had in his room at the time. I really could not change the purpose that when he grew up, but it was relatively cheap and loved it. I'll give you a tip I learned from my son. Small action figures and Hot Wheels will always find its way to the bottom of the toy chest. My son had to take everything out to find them. For Christmas the year Next, he asked me something easier to put the little things to keep organized. I found a small container stacking three levels wheels. It was in bright primary colors, and could roll in and out of your closet to save space in your small room. You could put a hot wheels compartment, action figures in another, and Legos in the other. It worked perfectly, and she loved it! So consider some kind of bin if your child have small toys like these. Other than that, it's just a matter of preference, and what works with your decor and home. Little TYKES is undeniably lasting and went to the children, so they work well. Any chest will serve the purpose, just make sure the lid is not heavy, is articulated in such way to not slam on little fingers or pinch, and remains open while you rot there. Your child's toys are likely to exceed the toy tray and do not be afraid to change the purpose of laundry baskets for the excess plastic. They are light, work great, can be easily carried from room to room, and put in a closet out of sight when not in use. I hope these suggestions help!
