How do you win the school game on a tamagotchi v4?

Help!
I keep losing the school game on my tamagotchi, and I have to guess all the time, and I know that there’s some trick to it. WIll somebody please tell me that little trick?

Watch the presents when they swap places, I do that and always guess right
