New Cadillac BLS Wagon in Detail
The Cadillac division of General Motors recently introduced a new product fresh in the European public in the 77th annual Geneva International Motor Show. the GM luxury brand is adding a new variant in its current BLS compact executive car model. Cadillac has unveiled the BLS Wagon, and announced to be launched in markets across Europe in the last quarter of 2007.
According to Jim Taylor, general manager of the Cadillac brand, "The Cadillac BLS Wagon is an attractive addition to the Cadillac portfolio for customers preferring dramatically designed luxury vehicles that offer versatility and performance along with a driving exceptional handling characteristics. "
"This is the first Cadillac wagon in our 104-year history, and we believe he'll do well in many European markets where consumers desire a high degree of versatility and functionality in their vehicles high performance luxury. "he said.
Like any other Cadillac luxury vehicle, the new Cadillac BLS Wagon embodies the style of the company and the signing of the contours sharply designed, wedge of shape, tapered lines, vertical tail lamps and chrome grille Cadillac V-shaped marking the distinction of the vehicle. Cadillac designed the team said are very excited because this is the first time for them to create designs for signs of a Cadillac station wagon. Inside, customers should expect nothing for the BLS Wagon, but luxury, elegance, versatility and comfort. Apart of standard automotive interior parts such as leather Steering Wheel three-spoke steering wheel-mounted remote controls, analog clock, and easy to read instrument panel circular, the van is also equipped with a variety of indoor and entertainment systems, including Bose audio system, high quality navigation system DVD Touch Screen, and the latest system hands-free Bluetooth mobile phone, to name a few. The Cadillac BLS Wagon also has a large boot and increased payload capacity.
Now the technical part, specifically the suspension, chassis and powertrain system, the engineers at Cadillac MacPherson front struts installed in the BLS Wagon, along with the four-arm rear axle. Under the sleek hood of the truck is a wide range of engine options – a diesel and three petrol engines to choose from. Leading the engine range is the 1.9-liter engine with 150 hp common-rail direct injection and particle filter for better economy fuel and lower exhaust emissions. For performance-oriented drivers, two petrol engines of 2.0 liters and 175 hp and 210 hp are available, and the monstrous twin-turbo 2.8-liter V6 petrol engine that pumps 255 horsepower. These engines are coupled with a selection of six or manual gearboxes or automatic five-speed drive the front wheels.

Can you put a forward facing third row in a van?
I have a van and I'd put in the third row of seats as our family is growing. So I was wondering if it was possible to move the original seats back and put a smaller seat in the middle? Or in smaller seats in the back so that could be accessed from the hatch, but face it. I have said that look back or fold the seats are not safe and I prefer them permanently erect and facing forward. either would be possible or safe?
What could be possible but would be neither safe nor legal. Your vehicle is approved as a five-seater, to become a 7-seater that would have re-certified.
