Manual tilt on 1979 70 hp johnson seahorse keeps jamming. How I can fix it? Power Tilt Will it fit?
The tilt lever is getting stuck in the up postition. I have to use a screwdriver to remove it from the other party. Is the locking mechanism to participate because they use reverse? and how I can disable? There is a Johnson screw in the power trim / tilt installation of this engine?
MAC bowed aftermarket supply (without adjustment) to fit. A company called CMC makes aftermarket units TNT, a bit expensive, probably cost more worth the engine. Probably better to find a head to fly in part out, almost all from 1970 to 1980 3 cylinder johnnyrude fit – probably models later, I'm also just not sure. check e-bay, Craigslist. Sorry, I do not know about the manual tilt lock, mine MAC has the inclination.
