Saddle Halter

Saddle Halter
What is the best way to Clean a saddle??????

Its synthetic, suede type material. I normally would have listened to the other answers posted to similar questions on here, but It isnt just dust on the saddle. Its mold. I didnt realize exactally how wet my basement was until I started seeing mold growing on things down there. (Dangerous I know, but basement has been treated, and a dehumidifier in place. My tack is no longer stored down there either). Now my saddle, breast collar and bridal all have mold on them. (It was even under a cover.) GRRRR.
What should I use that will kill the mold, and clean the saddle really well? I am not worried about health concerns really, but just want to make sure I kill the mold.

Is it ok, if I take the bit off and throw the halter in the washer, gentle cycle? Same for the breast collar?

Thanks for your help!!!!

If you are talking synthetic material, for halter and breast collar etc could be immersed into soapy water with even a little vinegar to counteract the mold. I would let it soak all after noon then take it out and let it dry in the sun. The sun hates mold.
I am not sure what to use to condition synthetics..maybe just the washing would suffice.
