Is it unlikely to find a ’67 Mustang for $6000-9000 that runs and looks great?
I am sure this is anyone’s wet dream to be able to find the little Old Lady who babied her Mustang and now wants to sell it but has no idea what it is worth. But does anyone know for sure that it is possible to buy a ’67 Mustang coupe for 6-9 thousand that is in very good to great running and looking condition? Or am I smoking? How does one determine the value of these cars if there is no Kelley Blue Book on them because they are so old? I also can’t run a Carfax check on them because of the year. Any suggestions? As long as you aren’t picky and expect a fastback, GT or big block you can find some reasonable coupes.
watch craigslist.org and ebay. but be careful of shipping cost and untold rust when buying across the country. best to try to find something local. and get a Old Cars Price Guide at a book store or order it online http://www.oldcarspriceguide.net/
