What does it mean when the standby light LED of my plasma TV flashes red-green-red intermittently?

A clicking noise can be heard; I initially thought that it was due to a capacitor on the power board.
Some TVs will have their standby light flashing red intermittently meaning a power board fault.
It sounds like there is a fault and that it is constantly turning itself on/standby. I hear a single click whenever my tv goes from one to the other and the light changes once, so if it is flashing and continues to click, it must be stuck in a loop.
Be careful as this is not healthy and could do more damage. Have it serviced.
