PLEASE HELP! How I can know if my Trixie Belden Mystery Series books are first editions??

I have all the Trixie Belden book and mystery books of the evidence and all the paper dolls except one. I see how expensive they are on eBay. Julie Campbell was the creator. There are different types short and ugly, hard cover oval, and rustic oval and square rare. I have all the paperback editions oval and square rare. What I need to know is how to determine if I have a first, second or third edition of the ellipse and the square. How I can find it. I know my collection is worth money, but since I do not know what I have issues that I do not know how much it's worth. Thanks to everyone who can help me and ten points to the person who comes through me.

Congratulations I'm jealous! He had all the series as a teenager and sold everything when I left home. The way I can know if a book is probably a first edition is to observe the details Published in the front of the book. The release date listed, and should be the only date (not the copyright date). For example, if it says "Published first by 1970 "and then in another line says:" Published by 1972 ", then it is a first edition. The date of rights Copyright usually only a year or less before the date of publication. Unfortunately, but this is a fairly reliable method, not entirely foolproof, it can also be a good idea to do some research. If you do a search of every book in bookfinder.com and check the "First Edition" box in the search form, you should get a good idea of who published the first edition – and the year of publication – on the basis of the lists presented. Good luck!

Bali Travel Tips

The fear of the unknown is very common in people who have never title = "The success of Bali Tours"> traveled to Bali before. An equal number of good stories and bad stories continually circulate about this wonderful island. Then is a list of travel tips for anyone who has never traveled to Bali before. They will help you be prepared and make sure you have a fantastic holiday in this magnificent island.

  • Take U.S. $ 25 per person for visa on arrival. You pay for this on arrival at Denpasar Airport and this allows it to be in Bali for a maximum of 30 days.
  • Pack lightly. Even if you are tempted to throw extra things in your bag, do not do. Bali clothing is very cheap and if you like shopping or not guaranteed to be much heavier suitcase back. Toiletries, etc. can be purchased within 24 hours Mini Circle K Mart and at a fraction of the price. The bath products are only recommend personal items for women and sunscreen as they are quite expensive in Bali.
  • Prepare a good pair of walking shoes. Bali Trails are not exactly structurally sound. Although coaches use can be very hot in the humid environment feet thank you.
  • Do not change money before you go. Although I'm sure you all have heard stories of being cheated by the money changers on the street if you follow some simple rules that will not happen. You will get a better rate of exchange in Bali you in their country of origin. Just make sure you go to a licensed money changer, not handing over your money until you have counted the money I have given and make sure you get a receipt. If this still does not sit well with you go to a bank, since they usually have even better exchange rates than it will on the street.
  • It is better to cash than using credit cards. Depending on which bank is through, usually charge a fee each time you use your credit card in Bali. This is usually a percentage of What You spent and you can add up a lot during your vacation. The maximum withdrawal from any ATM is IDR 1.5 million (about AU $ 200) and most banks charge about $ 5 in fees for withdrawal. For the two credit card charges and ATM withdrawals exchange rate is usually much worse than if I were to change money on the streets. If you really do not feel comfortable taking cash Be sure to check with your bank before leaving how much are the fees.
  • Beware title = "Tours of Bali" drivers>. If you find a driver that offers a price too cheap to transport full day to be careful. Drivers make little money on driving around for the day, Once expenses are taken out. The main source of income for them is receiving orders from what you eat and what they buy to the places that you take. Although this is how they earn life you may find yourself being ripped off with the driver taking place. The other problem is he can not finish where I wanted to go because the driver has its own agenda and take you to the place that receives the highest commission. Just be careful and try to go with a driver recommended by another person not only the price offered cheaper.

  • Ganga in the markets – everyone knows this but I just thought I'd mention it. If you are not going to go down the price you are willing to pay just walk away and stick you know that your price is reasonable. Just remember this is how the Balinese make a living by what a great thing to make is that the negotiation to the lowest price and once they have agreed to give a little more. What little is nothing for us but everything to them. This will make them realize that they are not easy prey and will be very grateful.
  • If you do not want to get bothered by people trying to sell things I recommend you keep them out of the market and Kuta beach. The Balinese are very rarely unpleasant or aggressive, but as they are trying to make a living can sometimes be overwhelming quiet with his aggressiveness. Not so everywhere and if kept away from markets and tourist hot spots of the city should not have a problem. If you are annoyed rather than being so rude "no thanks" and keep walking. Courtesy as I think it works better. The Balinese are great for remembering faces so after a short period of "no thankyous' probably not bother anymore.
  • Beware of tax – In most restaurants do not add the taxes on the price. You will see the bottom of the menu "price is subject to an additional 21% service and government tax. "It is worth to mention anyone who has not traveled to Bali before and likes to watch their spending as an additional tax of 21% can add up to a reasonable amount.
  • Do not eat all their meals in its restaurant. Although this may be desirable at times usually pay much more to eat at your hotel if you would go out to the millions of restaurants available on the street. In general, Breakfast is included in the price of your room, but I would recommend eating out of your hotel for lunch and dinner.
  • Do not be afraid of Bali Belly – everyone has a story to tell about how Bali belly arrived. My husband and I have been in Bali lots of times and – touch wood – did not come to Bali Belly. But do not drink the water. When showering make sure not to swallow and the use of bottled water, even when rinsing the mouth after brushing. Also just use common sense when choosing a place to eat – make sure that the kitchen and its surroundings are clean. If you get beaten with Bali warm red belly and said to help the Balinese believe that the snake is also local fruit a great priest.
  • Shop around – although prices in the designer shops are already much lower than what we used that is still a good idea to shop around. Many places will have sales of up to 50% and you can get a bargain, even better with a little looking around.
  • Until you become familiar with the taxis charge prices make sure you get one with a meter. Once you feel comfortable with knowing the price you should get loaded catch a taxi without a meter is fine – just be sure to negotiate the price before jumping in.
  • Coming out of Bali that is required to pay 000 euros per person IDR150 in departure tax. Many new travelers to Bali are aware of it. It is also worth mentioning that once it is protected for its output is very difficult to back out of the airport. Guards stand at the door and only allowed to leave if you need to use the ATM automatic.

In my opinion is that of Bali Tours Success "> ultimate holiday destination. No matter what type of holiday would like to Bali has something for everyone. I hope the above tips will make you feel more comfortable in choosing Bali as their next holiday destination.
