Image of a Traffic Light on a street as four outlying neighborhoods ("T" s) on a main road. Across the street is a neighborhood business that has a parking lot exit. The streets of the neighborhood does not go on in the business. Ends, there is a curb (ramp cars to enter and exit the business) and the sidewalk is continuous (at the same height at the entrance of companies). This traffic light has a main road (back and forth and turning to the street and in the business district), neighborhood street (turn to the main road and continuing through a business) and companies (turning to the main road and continuing through the neighborhood street). Question is a "T" intersection (where the light only passes to the output line from the beach parking) for the output of cars in the parking should always give way? Or is it a 4 way intersection? all car "rules of the road" apply and walkers in the head of affairs must stop if the light is red.
As a safe and defensive driver, you must treat it as a 4-way intersection of business because to the input / output has a traffic light control. Even if your city / town legally considered a private road, I will not make my main point of defense in court in the case of an accident with a pedestrian. In the court of popular opinion, most jurors side with pedestrians – no matter how sloppy they are – cars. Drivers do not drive defensively – to assume that the other person does not know what they are doing. Works for me.
