Do you remember this movie? Warning, 70′s comedy.?
I am trying to remember the name of a movie I once saw, which is similar to the Cannonball Run series, and features a comedic cross country race, but one scene I specifically remember is when a passenger jet leaving on an airport runway fails to take off and runs through the far barrier and ends up on the same road as the racers are driving through, it then goes through a tunnel and shears off its wings and essentially joins the the race. I tried both the cannonball run movies because it was back in that time period, and is a similar type of movie, but its not them, nor is it Rat Race or Mad Mad ….Mad World. I appreciate the help, thanks.
You must be referring to the 1976 movie called “Cannonball” (the two Cannonball Run movies are from 1981 and 1984 respectively). This one appears on the Showtime channels from time to time.
Or you might be remembering “The Gumball Rally”, a far goofier flick from the same year (you can get this on DVD).
