Puppy Teething

All puppies love to chew. They bite things because it relieves the discomfort of teething and chew very bored. You may have noticed that chew or "mouth" each other. This is one way to play each other. When young, it is natural to chew things like exploring the new world. That's just part of being a puppy and continue as they grow and mature. Although some point in their life have to learn about everything with their sharp teeth to chew anything that is not acceptable. The puppy must learn to chew only on certain things like toys and not to 'Cut' hands or face. To train your puppy to stop "tweaking" you can say "no" loudly and forcefully stop playing with it for a minute or two. He will eventually learn that you do not like this "play hard and stop doing it.

I know your first thought when the puppy bites on the face or hands would slap your mouth because you hurt puppies puppy and want the puppy know that it hurt, but this will only make things worse. Hitting or slapping a puppy or an adult can take to make aggressive or even become part shy, which means that if you raise your hand to him even to pat him back up or shrink down because you're afraid you might hit him again.

So patience is needed time and love to raise well-adjusted dogs that do well when they go in this big world and not be afraid of anything or anyone.

Tips

Puppy Teething – Try to give your puppy a big carrot to chew to help alleviate gum mess with teething. Freeze a wet rope toy "as this will relieve teething pain with a cooling effect on the gums. You can also freeze trays of meat broth ice cubes and give one to chew on or you can go to your local pet store to buy toys for teething puppies.

Recreation and the exercise – To help keep the puppy (or dog) is bored or chewing on things that are not supposed to let him have a lot of playtime and exercise.

Toy Fair – Give the puppy (and adult dog) a lot of safe toys to chew. Never give them toys that the parts may be chewed and swallowed. I found the safest way for my dogs toys are toys Kong. Kong toys can also be filled with candy that could keep the dogs busy for hours and come in all sizes.

Puppy home event – to help the puppy to chew items that do not want to chew keep things picked up. Mostly small items that could swallow. Look around on the floor for loose change clips pencils and / or bottles of medicines fell to the ground and place their shoes or slippers can not get and keep electrical cords out of reach. Basically anything that does not belong on the floor or in its scope should be collected.

It's a good idea to teach your dog to free chewing everything in case something takes over you do not want he has. Thus if it is dangerous to read "give" and he was released. When you praise him and frees him replace one of their toys

Keep electrical cords out of reach. Basically anything that does not belong on the floor or in their scope should be collected (pens, pencils TV clips remote medicine bottles trash, etc) and use a baby gate to keep puppies from any area that does not want it in.

Here are the benefits chewing and why dogs chew on things:

Chewing things release endorphins which is a body chemical that help maintain calm dog.

You can also chew removes plaque on the teeth of the dog that keeps the gums healthy and strong.
