Summary of a report on the effect of music specially composed in fetuses, infants, toddlers and parents

Background and objective
In the summer of 1999 the two musicians and composers, Claus Jensen and Henrik Birk AABOE D, produced a series of music CDs for Mother and Child, which contains music specially composed and designed to calm the fetuses, infants, toddlers and parents. In the course of the process and Henrik Claus was so exciting responses from people who decided to carry out a private study of the effects of music in pregnant women, babies and their parents.

Study Group
44 people participated in the study of 12 weeks. The 44 participants were divided into three groups:

How did the music
The idea of the CD came from a common desire of musicians to compose music that could to fetuses / newborns a good start in life. About the composers
Claus Jensen D is a skilled guitarist composer amnd a degree at the Music Conservatory of Jutland. He has played professionally since 1984 and has taught at the music school, college and school at night. He is involved with several scientific research on the effect of music audioprograms and relaxation in hospitals and self-hypnosis audioprograms for pregnant women.
Henrik Birk AABOE was educated at the Institute of Musicology at the University of Aarhus, and has taught both college and music schools.
