Japan Wind
How can a person with respiratory problems get a good workout and lose some weight?
I have what my doctor calls an "allergy Bronchial "(I live in Japan, so it might be a more appropriate term than my doctor does not know), which basically means that most of physical exertion steal the wind from me. I am a bit chubby round my middle and bottom, and would prefer not to be. I have only 26, but I fear that my body is starting to look a bit like Homer Simpson (without jaundice). Any advice on some exercises, well would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I am asthmatic (I believe this is what their media doictor) also and I found the following to be good. Hiking – No crazy. Start with What You can and then build. Swimming – Great as His lungs are using all the oxygen in them. Cycling – Take my child to ride a bike every week. Stop only 5 minutes when I get a little breathless. Start by running (or walking quickly) down the steps and build from there. Also, watch what you eat because some foods can trigger reactions Allergic astmatic (mine is rape seed oil, start my panting like a horse cart). Reduce fat intake and increasing exercise, this should help. Best of luck.
