Are RC Helicopter Remotes interchangeable ?
I have an RC Helicopter –
“2CH Syma V3 Lama Coaxial Radio Remote Control RC Electric Helicopter RTF w/ LED Head Light”
But I have lost the charger and remote.
Can the remote be substituted by a remote from another helicopter with the same frequency – 27 MHZ
What about the Charger ?
Yes, you could use another controller and charger to charge the battery. However, because the helicopter is inexpensive, it is better to just purchase another helicopter and try selling this off. The cost of a new remote and charger would exceed the amount of the helicopter that you own.
If you do want to just buy a remote, make sure it is a 6 channel remote that could operate using the same frequency as the helicopter you have.
If you are going to buy a charger, make sure it charges the type of battery you have. i.e. Make sure it could chare Ni-MH or Ni-CD or Li-Po. Make sure its the same voltage as well. Failure to do so could result in a fire or explosion
