Greyhound Bus

How the work of the Greyhound bus thingy?

How does the greyhound bus? I am planning to go from Pennsylvania to North Carolina I am very anxious. I've never been on buses that go from state to state. Is there a limit on the number of bags or can you take? What I have to bring, in addition the tickets? stop to take breaks to eat and stuff? I really want to know how this is like most of the details as possible because I am very concerned for this.

Greyhound I took a trip last summer, so here are some tips I found: Though they say they only allow one carry- hand, which does not really matter. I brought a duffel bag and a cloth bag and check the bags. It gave me peace of mind that the total control of my luggage. I technically are supposed to have a photo ID, but I do not remember checking it … better safe than sorry though. Depending on the time of day, may want to invest in an inflatable travel U-shaped pillow. The best thing ever for long bus rides. They stop for lunch breaks … but keep in mind that you have to stop when and where the driver wants to stop. On my trip from Detroit to Buffalo, were stopping to eat at 2 am in an area not so nice, but had a small snack bar type restaurant and that was really the choice of eating alone. I brought some Lunchables, granola bars and other food choices easy with me and it was really the best I could have done. I recommend sitting near the front, just because it is closer to the driver and then you are one of the first. If you receive a seat for yourself, cherish it, put your feet on the seat at stops and pretend they are sleeping and will usually prevent anyone from sitting next to you. If you have to sit with someone when you get on the bus, sitting next to an elderly … usually make good seat partner. Greyhound The good thing: if you have connections with other buses, and original bus is delayed or carried out the bus, or ship to another so that they are still able to reach their final destination. Not travel Luxury … but it is a cheap way to get from point A to point B and the time you are remotely Savy, may be a good experience. Good luck! Enjoy! :] (I actually I preferred to travel there via Greyhound to my trip home … Amtrak)

Seattle Bus Crash – Bus Accident in Seattle

In Seattle, two charter buses full of students were left hanging over the edge of an elevated section of Interstate 5 near Capitol Hill. The buses slid down an icy hill near Melrose Avenue East and hit each other before crashing through a barrier. A third bus in the caravan escaped the accident.

All the passengers have been evacuated, and no serious injuries wre reported, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting. The buses were headed to Seattle’s Greyhound bus station with dozens of students from the Columbia Basin Job Corps who were heading home for Christmas. Officials said the buses were stable and not in danger of falling onto the interstate. Northbound lanes were closed.

The cause of the accident was not immediately known, but winter weather left many city streets coated with ice. Nicole Maxie, a passenger, told KING-TV that the buses were carrying students with the Columbia Basin Job Corps home from Moses Lake for Christmas break. She said they were part of a three-bus caravan bound for downtown Seattle’s bus station. The third bus was not involved in the accident. Reco Collins, a 16-year-old passenger, told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that one bus crashed into the railing and was then struck by the second bus, pushing it farther over the side.
