Maseration Live Performance
Imagine this … an old warehouse just 100,000 square feet on the second floor. 20-foot ceilings, large open space 1800 full of people wearing black concert shirts, leather, tattoos and piercings anxiously waiting for metal bands to start. Stage 4 Mesa Boogie stack full guitar amps on each side of a monstrous Tama Drum Set. A banner hanging behind band behind the stage with a banner just below Paiste. Lights off, the stage lights and BOOM, the mushroom cloud on the speed of metal chaos enveloping the mass of metal heads!
This is Maseration!
Kathrynn MacAnders: My brother and I came from Massachusetts to see this show (in a warehouse complex on West Street between Quay and streets Noble in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.)
Aresco Mykill: Wow! Are you asking for money for gas?
Kathrynn: No, friend! haha! That was a hell of a show.
Mykill: Yes, we had a blast with all of the other three bands night. Get all this was real hell for some, I've heard. Between finding the building, to get permission to do this show, the purchase of commercial radio, and all the other BS out sponsors … WOW! Headless Torso Productions really made an important job! That's a good name, huh! hahaha.
Kathrynn: Yes, the posters were sick event! (Cool)
Mykill: Yes, if you use a scanner for this, use one …. of …. thesis (hands me a flyer normal jane from outside the wall) Some people do not want to see those things, which I am one!
Kathrynn: So, when you have a disk Maseration out?
Mykill: Well, we are new as a band. Everyone has other bands that are their target principal. Yes, it Maseration my band, but the Dead Skin Mask and Sa Sanctuary are my main offerings. So, to answer the question, especially joined to This festival of sorts. Jim and Brad are destroyed Youth, and Robert is H5N1, so that to obtain these nine songs together, the quality of those who are, it was pretty amazing.
Kathrynn: So, no Cd Maseration?
Mykill: At the moment, I would say no. Unless the rate sound was recorded and released by itself! haha.
Kathrynn: You have a TomTom PLUS new dishes now?
Mykill: I'm impressed! The average listener is not usually notice these things. Do you play?
Kathrynn: No, my brother does. He said that to me.
Mykill: Oh, well. New as in brand … No. I still play Paiste. I have since I was 12. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago. But yes, I have a Paiste 36 "symphonic gong there. The post is rented. Mine is in order, really. I'm using all RUDE set tonight, but my trip and hat X. They usually have a combination of different series, but this is a 97.1% RUDE. 14 "HH, March 1917 (1 Wild Crash / Ride Crash 1 / 1 Thin Crash) March 1918 (1 Wild Crash / Ride Crash 1 / 1 Crash thin), and in March 1919 (1 Wild Crash / Ride Crash 1 / 1 Crash fine). Mykill: (laughs hard) Sorry. We drummers are like heads arts muscle car. we like to talk specifications.
Kathrynn: Yes I do. Therefore, their projects are so far from main band here. What's the deal?
Mykill: Well, they are "very far from here" at this time. I'm just here in NE a small stretch. Sa Sanctuary has a DVD coming out called point of failure. Maybe in February or March, which will be out. They are getting new material together, as soon as I get there, we go in the world 1000%. DSM, well, it is a project I do in the downtime Santary. I have to play. If not too long ago … Real Salgo and pissy bummed! Drums have been an important part of my life without them, I am not myself. It is difficult to explain, but unless the game, things are not good and I feel good, bad. Hey, I have to go and make sure my equipment is handled and packed up right.
