What torque does friction exert while this wheel is slowing down?

Tribotesters for Accurate Friction Testing!
Friction testers are used in the packaging and paper industries, floor manufacturing as well as plastic and rubber manufacturing companies to gauge the smoothness or the slippyness of any product. A Tribometer is ideally an instrument used to ascertain the degree of friction in rubbing surfaces. We offer different types of tribometers of varying intensities namely Pin-on-Desk Tribometer, Linear Tribometer, High Load and High Pressure tribometers and many more models to assess the slipperiness or the smoothness of a product and ascertain the quantum of friction present it. Tribotesters manufactured by us are used to perform many versatile range of tests and simulations of wear, friction and lubrication. The types of tests that can be effectively devised using our specialized equipment are Pin-On-Disc, Ring-On-ring, and Ball on ring experiments. The machinery we provide is largely used for testing bulk materials, coatings and lubricants on a Large Scale. Some of the characteristic features of our Tribometers are:- * Highly stable instruments * Precisely calibrated for evaluation and assessment for friction and wear * Can perform under high temperature up to 1000degrees centigrade. * Testing compatible with ASTM G99 and DIN 50324
The extent of slip and friction present in any given product is denoted by the term coefficients of friction. This denotes two important components which serve determinants in measurement of friction:- * Static Coefficient of Friction: – This denotes to the force required to get two inert surfaces moving and the force needed for this is maximum. * Dynamic Coefficient of Friction: – This requires less force and is used to keep the two surfaces moving once he initial inertia is overcome.
The Coefficient of Friction or the (COF) is measured in two different methods namely the “Incline Plane Friction Testing method” and “Flat Bed Friction testing method”. We use tribometers of high quality materials and serve as powerful tools for friction and wear testing, diesel fuel testing, grease friction testing and also used for lubricity tests for many products. We provide exclusive equipment and machinery for petrol and diesel fuel testing, and inspection services. In the entire range of tribotesters used by us the ones that are highly on demand by majority of clients are the HFRR (High Frequency Reciprocating Rig) tribotesters to perform lubricity test on diesel fuels to monitor lubricity additives and the final quality of the fuel. Our Tribometers are equipped with high precision load cell to measure friction. All components of the Tribotesters we provide are designed to perfection, selected and integrated with high international standard specifications and are manufactured exquisitely to strict tolerances.
