What are some easy and inexpensive decorations and flowers and cake ideas for a Christmas wedding theme?
I'm getting married December 27, 2008,. Need some ideas as far as decorations, flowers and cake designs with a Christmas theme to them. I thought that my children abouut cut paper snowflakes, and hang the roof. I'm in a very limited budget and need something good, but inexpensive, ideas for flowers, decorations, and cake. PLEASE HELP. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. My colors are the traditional green, red, white, and we are taking a bit of purple.
Go to your local party rental and leasing of large glass bowls for centerpieces, the day after Christmas to go to your local store debt and buy boxes of Christmas balls. Fill the container with the balls and have your centerpieces. In lieu of flowers, foliage and use wth holly berries, much much cheaper than flowers and very beautiful. (Be sure to cut the holly picks though) For the cake once again, Christmas balls, paste them into a small pile and get a girlfriend sitting cake topper groom sitting together and stick them on top of the top ball. You can also get those little silver sugar balls, and put them all over the cake to make it shine. Christmas is a great time of year because everything is more or less decorated for you, so you will save much money there. You can do this with a very small budget. Remember to take advantage of after Christmas sales This year you can get a lot of good business! Good luck!
