Fish Elec
Think fish have lost Your Mind!?
Okay so I just set up a 60 gallon for my cichlids. I have 5 (3 Kenyi and electricity 2. Shouting. Laboratories) Well I just put new tanks there last night. And they all look great, normal power, blah, blah, blah … Well, for some why all five of them are grouped … they never did before and then swim as fast as you can and on the side of the tank … It literally looks like they are playing follow the leader … they have been doing this for like an hour so its starting to worry. I also know they have pleanty of oxygen and its follow the leader is also playing in the bubbles … So my question is, are really just playing or is a sign of something .. Just need to know if I have to rush off to something or take the video recorder output store … It is not only creating Ive had my fish for 8 months and its adoption is cycled …
So "just created" means that the deposit has taken a little over a day right? There's more to fishkeeping than buying a tank, adding water, and stepped on the fish you want inches have to change the tank, make sure the water parameters are great, and acclimate bit little fish to the tank to be sure of a happy and healthy fish. Have you ever heard of the nitrogen cycle (also known as cycle a tank). When fish waste and uneaten food, becomes ammonia. Gradually over time, the good bacteria convert the ammonia to nitrite. Then another type of bacteria convert the nitrite into nitrate, with an A. Nitrates are less harmful to fish, but levels of 25 ppm are not good. This can be lowered by changes partial water (done with a siphon hose water and store-bought fish.) Usually, the cycle of a new tank with one or two fish will be approximately ~ April 8 weeks. I know it seems like a long time, but for the future of their fish for them to live a long and happy life. Please take a water sample to the nearest lfs and ask them to test their water. You should have 0 ammonia, nitrites 0, and below 20 ppm nitrate. If you have any ammonia or nitrite, this means that the tank is at the center cycling and to do a partial water change. Other causes of the "crazy-looking" fish could be: – The water was dechlorinated and chemicals in tap water are affecting peces. "Fear. If this happens to be the cause, turn the light tank a couple of days and let the fish get used to their environment and between yes. If you have had the tank for a while with a few fish in it, then … we're just paranoid.
