Fan Lights
The lights on ceiling fan do not turn on?
The ceiling fan works, but the lights do not. Thought it was the switch inside the unit, so I replaced it, but the lights still do not light. Any ideas?
Duh. Of course I checked the bulbs. They are fine.
most ceiling fans with light kits have seperate wall switches if yours only has one wall switch and uses pull chaind and you have replaced the pull chain switch then i would check the wires at the ceiling where they connect to the fan there are two wires the get power when the wall switch is on. one goes to the fan control pull chain the other goes to the light kit pull chain. the problem coule be just a loose connection where these wires connect. normally this is in the bell housing at the ceiling. make sure you have the power off and know how to work with electricity before you do this
