Cub Interactive
Do I have enough experience to apply even to a major zoo.?

I've been working on a fleet of exotic cat for the last 1.5 years. This park is small, we have 30 cats and 16 spiecies, from ocelots and cervals to the big 4. I have helped raise three tiger cubs and some other small cats. There are only four people working in the park, so I have my hands in all aspects of the park, from cleaning and feeding, the maintenance enclosures and buildings, to the butcher and gardening and detial tour guide and gift shop. We are a very interactive with our cats and I walk 15 months my regular tigers in the park (empty) in the leads. Also I have a degree is biology with an emphasis on ecology and evolution. I really like my work with no complaints other than the fact that paid very little and my bills are flooding me, and the city is in great part is too small. I want to move to a opperation larger and still learning my trade. I have curiosity to know if I have the experience to move up or if I should take a little longer.

You will not know until you try. Go for it. According to the http://www.bls.gov/k12/nature01.htm the workplace is a growing field, but it is not easy to find because a large number seekers. See some zoos online. I found this list in the San Diego Zoo: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/CF/jobs/JobResults.cfm
