Chatnow Communicator

ChatNow Communicators are a good product? Why or why not?

I wondered if ChatNow Communicators are a good product? Why or why not? Are they better Walkie Talkies? I really wanted to get a pair of walkie talkies with my friend so we could talk about them. But then I saw ChatNow Communicators. What is the best because both prices are more or less equivalent. Does anyone know of a good set of walkie talkies that are at least ten miles. If you do, where I can buy those?

FRS Cahtnows use unlicensed frequencies and also allow text messages. The output power is very low. Another walkie talkies "using both FRS and GMRS frequencies. GMRS requires a license. Unfortunately, you will not get anything with a radius of 10 miles. The manufacturers advertise their radios geographical distribution and very shocking … as 25 miles. False. What else you going to leave any radius of two miles, if you're lucky. Average ranks are a mile or less. It is simply not physically possible with handheld radios. The best kiddie phones around

Many parents are ambivalent about giving their child a cell phone, worried that their child will turn into some kind of horrific miniature yuppie, or spend all their time chatting to their friends and racking up massive phone bills in the process.

The most popular cell phone for children at the moment is called the Firefly. Its bright colour schemes, cartoonish design, and on screen animations are clearly designed to appeal to the younger generation. It has three large speed dial buttons to allow your child to call mum, dad, or the emergency services, and there are quite a few features designed to restrict usage to within guidelines set by the parents, including a phone book protected by a PIN number that allows parents to set specific numbers calls are allowed to be made to and received from.

If you have adventurous children, then you might want to consider the Wherifone, a child-friendly cellphone which features a GPS device to allow anxious parents to track the position of their child when they are off on their own. This even works in covered areas such as buildings and forests, and an SOS button allows the child to call for help when they get into trouble. It also features parental controls, which you can use to ban calls to certain numbers, or to disable functions such as text messaging or online games.

Another popular model is the LeapFrog TicTalk, which has some pretty comprehensive parental controls, making it popular with parents who want to restrict their childrens cell phone usage to within certain parameters. It also features educational tools such as a fun camera, which is perfect if you want to encourage your childs artistic side, and a to do list function, which can help them to get in the habit of organising their time effectively.

The Disney range of mobiles are aimed at slightly older kids, with features such as a flip top design, text messaging, and content downloading. They still, however, feature all the parental controls that you might expect from a unit of this type.

One of the biggest concerns about giving an expensive mobile phone to children is that children have a habit of losing or breaking their possessions. Although it is not specifically aimed at children. the Tracfone is a cheap, durable phone that comes with a pay as you go price plan and parental controls, which make it suitable for the younger market.

The ChatNow phone is really a Walkie Talkie dressed up to look like a phone, with a radius of two miles, and a number of phone-like functions such as text messaging. The best thing about the ChatNow is that after you have bought the unit, there are no additional costs, as all communication takes place on freely available radio frequencies.
