Gears of War, the best action game ever figures Video
There is no denying that Gears of War has captured the imagination of gaming fans worldwide and while the sequel is fueling the excitement surrounding the franchise even more, the range of accompanying action figures NECA have filled the shelves of fans with some of the best examples of licensed merchandise in years. Three sets of action figures Gears of War has been created so far, with three box sets popular. The figures include:
GEARS OF WAR ACTION FIGURES-SERIES ONE
The first set of official action figures based on the popular Xbox 360 game arrived in mid-2008 to a lot of praise from the fans. NECA produced the figures to a very high level and stuck closely to the game design to create what are undoubtedly figures best Video Game ever.
The first set of official figures including characters of Marcus Fenix, Augustus Cole, Locust Drone and Locust Sniper. A box set of four figures, with additional accessories and a head of a variant of the lobster was also available. The box set proved almost as popular as individual figures, and presented in an attractive presentation box front window.
GEARS OF WAR ACTION FIGURES: SERIES TWO
Series two of the officially licensed Gears of War action figures will be released in November 2008. The decision of the legend of the game to the world of collectible sculptures and continues with four articulated action figures new brands to add to the range. Again, the figures were presented at a high level of detail in both sculpting figures themselves and their accessories.
Series two features Dominik Santiago, Damon Baird, Theron Guard and lobster with 'exploding head' tip variant. Another box set was released alongside individual action figures, with four of them with extra weapons. Once again, the box set was released in an attractive long box with a front window display.
GEARS OF WAR ACTION FIGURES: SERIES THREE
The third set of Gears of War Action Figures to be released by NECA is here with the start of 2009. Four figures are included in new game this time, along with an alternate version of a figure.
This new set includes a great new version of Marcus Fenix, a COG soldier excellent, the Theron Guard Palace, and fighter against locusts (with alternate Cyclops locust). As always, there are real numbers with hunting weapons and sculpted in great detail.
A third box set was available which offered the four human main characters, but this time the box was sent over was rather shorter than the box sets two. Yet demonstrated be a huge hit with fans of the series.
No doubt a fourth set of figures, and more than Gears of War merchandise will be announced shortly. Fans are already talking about what may happen in the rumored third game, and with news of a movie adaptation of Gears of War on the way, is so an adventure that will not lose its power for some time to come.
