2001 Nissan Sentra 2.0L starts intermittently?

No warnings, this is totally out of the blue. My car started yesterday morning. I moved it ahead in the driveway, then tried starting again later on to go to town, and nothing, I thought battery died, nope, perfectly fine, gas? half a tank, oil, fine. Anwyay. I tried several times yesterday and I was able to turn it off and on 6 times in a row.. then nothing… the fuel pump kicks in.. but its like the battery is dead… but its not.. when it did start it took some time of holding the key, not just flick and vroom… Any ideas? :(
No, hooked up it up to work Truck Battery and nothing.. Theres nothing.. when you turn the key and it wont start.. its like the battery is dead.. but then you could go back 10 mins or your next tr, and she starts..and the starter was reaplaced back in august… I dont think its the starter itself..
Oh I forgot as well.. New battery terminals on as well

I am thinking there is an intermittent battery problem. Many times a bad terminal will do above. Your saying turn the key starter does not engage? or cranks and no start? 8 years old starter may be needed second battery may be bad? Ignition switch may have worn contacts. 2001 was a bad year for engine controls but when the Engine Control Module fails the motor starter still works. Long crank time may just be the fuel pump trying to catch up. Or the start signal fuse under the dash may be missing or blown. Does hooking up jumper cables to a hot batttery help?
