Blue Heelers? Well? Bad?
My family wants another dog. We were thinking of getting a Blue Heeler. I have experience with Border Collies and I was wondering if it was on the sound management of it. I know they have a tendency to cut the heels at the beginning, I've been there. But they have a reputation for being agile? Are good family dogs?
I have a Aus. cattle dog, and she is a charm, BUT, its problems are mostly strangers and men …. it is shy, and nip / complement to the men that their approach before she goes to them, especially i feel trapped, she warms up after a while though. And she is very aggressive dog. Dogs can be high energy, easily bored, others are mean to children … I'd recommend you do a lot of research before making a decision.
