our cat is pregnant – about to give birth, any advice?
Butter, our young kitten will have her first litter. We were trying to avoid going outside, but she kept running every time the door opened. Now his time is near and my husband and I want her and her kittens to have a healthy start. We have 2 bedrooms, one of which the door is always closed. We were thinking of putting in that room in a box with a soft blanket and my husband has gone through labor kittens, but not me. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes it should be kept in the room. Place the litter box close, but not as wardrobe for the table can smell it. Put food and water there too. The box should be kept in a warm, dark place where it is disturbed as little as possible perhaps in a closet or something.
