Battery Authorized
My Sidekick LX froze after an over-the-air update.
I don’t know what to do, because after it restarted it said that the update was complete. So after it froze I took the battery out ’cause I thought it was safe. The device restarts, but freezes after two seconds. I can’t press any buttons, I can’t make/receive phone calls. I tried calling my phone with my house phone and it goes through, but my Sidekick just looks the same. Mmm and then I tried doing that again and I pressed @, 1, and 0 while it hadn’t frozen yet. Then it restarted and it was fine, but I left it alone and once it got to the keyguard it froze again. I can’t call T-Mobile customer care because I’m “not authorized” since the account is under my dad’s name.
Is this normal to happen after an update? Or did I ruin my phone? ‘Cause I’m really worried about losing my information. Thanks for any help you can provide.
i dont think thats normal for your phone to freeze after the update.
but if you know or have your dads last s.s numbers when they ask
they can help you. i have an lx also & its under my dads acount also
& they dont tell me anything.
also you can go to a tmobile store. or if not to one of those Cell Phone stores who do sell tmobile maybe they can help.
or do a soft restart with the lil button nxt to when you flip your phone.
good luck!
