How do I talk to their peers in a baseball game?
I'm new entrants and meet some coworkers first time in a baseball game. For those of you who have experienced situations like this, what kind of behavior is not appropriate? For example, Is it good to drink beer in front of your potential boss in a baseball game? Do they expect the chat? About what? I do not like sports and know absolutely nothing about baseball, but it seemed inappropriate to decline my employer's "invitation." How I can do better than this?
LOL – I totally can relate to your situation. The same thing happened to me several years ago. I hated it and felt like a fish out of water all the time, but I got through him. It was not too bad.
